Bingsoo Hotspot 4: Valet, Cabramatta

 All About Bingsoo Sydney Instagram

I Honestly TiraMisU ☕

Who doesn't love coffee? Okay, maybe I don't entirely love the drink because of the high caffeine content... But I love the flavour of it in desserts! 😅

The aroma of coffee itself is so captivating 😌. Can you imagine the taste of it in Bingsoo? One word: Amazing! 😍

Bingsoo Hotspot 4 🍧:
Valet, Cabramatta

Yay!! I have finally tried Bingsoo at a different location 😂. It was a slightly humid weekday when my friends and I decided to have a spontaneous catch up session. We had heard of the opening of a new café that had some creative fusion dishes and Bingsoo, so we decided to drop by Valet café 😌.

Location and Ambience

Valet is positioned on the corner of Arthur St, near a small car park area and approximately 2 minutes’ walk from Cabramatta station. You will notice the café from its small homey presence and modern and sleek black business sign 🏠

The café is quite narrow, and it is occasionally crowded. However, they do have a modernistic approach to their interior design that gives the café a fancy vibe. Valet has multiple booth seating areas and small tables at the centre of the café.

How to Order, Setup of the Café and Price

Once you arrive at Valet, you will be guided to an available seat by the staff. They will provide you with a menu and you can order at the table when you are ready. We had ordered Tiramisu Bingsoo because it was a unique flavour that we had not tried yet 😝 (it was $16 at that time). However, they recently have more diverse flavours on their menu including melon Bingsoo, taro milk tea Bingsoo and Thai milk tea Bingsoo!

Despite how busy the café was, the Bingsoo came out almost immediately after we had finished our lunch. Can I just say WOW to the presentation?!! 🤩

Sorry, I lost track! So, we ordered through a staff member who arrived at our table when we were ready  and paid at the counter after we finished our meal and the Bingsoo 😊.

coffee-soaked lady fingers (at the bottom),
swirled pipes of mascarpone cream,
Ferraro Rochers and a decorative mint leaf 😝

Bingsoo Presentation

Okay, I am not going to lie… But the presentation of the Bingsoo was top notch! The Tiramisu Bingsoo was presented in a ceramic bowl (classy 😛). The bottom of the bowl had soaked lady fingers and it was topped with fine bits of coffee Bingsoo. Mascarpone cream was beautifully piped around and on top of the Bingsoo. It was decorated with two Ferraro Rochers, some mint leaves and dusted with cocoa powder.

But.. wait for it! The liquid nitrogen presentation was a creative and exquisite move by the staff (It was also poured by a staff member) 😍. It created a beautiful cloud of smoke around the Bingsoo that made it stand out 🤩. It was served with a small jug of Vietnamese coffee to intensify the coffee flavour ☕️.

The only con with this Bingsoo was that it was quite small ☹️. I would have expected a moderately bigger serving size or bowl with it being priced at $16.

Bingsoo Taste

This was my first time trying tiramisu Bingsoo and I was pleasantly surprised 🤭

The Tiramisu Bingsoo had a lovely hint of coffee to it and was sweet. After pouring the Vietnamese coffee in, we assumed that it would affect the flavour of the Bingsoo and make it more bitter 😕. However, the sweet coffee Bingsoo and the Vietnamese coffee complemented each other, so the bitterness was surprisingly not overpowering.

Additionally, the mascarpone cream was delicious! It added an enjoyable tang and creaminess to the Bingsoo 🤤. Honestly, I would go through every single ingredient, but I forgot the taste of the coffee-soaked lady fingers 😅

Anyhow, if you had Vietnamese coffee before and loved it; try this tiramisu Bingsoo and you will be impressed! 😝

Bingsoo Rating

This Bingsoo rating will be out of 5 stars based on my personal preferences and experience 😏. I will outline the common attributes and quality that I look for in Bingsoo and rate it.

Bingsoo Flavour:
⭐️⭐️⭐️
⭐️/5
I loved how all the ingredients complemented one another. You got the sweetness of the coffee Bingsoo, the bitterness of the Vietnamese coffee and the slight sourness of the mascarpone cream. It tasted delicious for my first time trying tiramisu Bingsoo 😝.

Bingsoo Presentation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.50 /5
The Bingsoo being presented in a ceramic bowl made it look elegant and classy. The swirls of mascarpone cream on the Bingsoo looked beautiful. The winning point for me was the liquid nitrogen 🤩. It was a wooing component and was remarkably Instagrammable!

Disclaimer 📢 : Be careful around the liquid nitrogen because it may pose a risk and cause implications if it is used incorrectly. Make sure that there is a staff member present (the staff member poured the liquid nitrogen for us), as they may be more aware of the safety precautions upon using it.

Bingsoo Ingredients: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ /5
As mentioned previously, the Bingsoo ingredients all complemented each other and made the Bingsoo taste incredible. However, I hoped that they had a larger serving size with more coffee Bingsoo given that the price was $16. I think there was only one standard size available 😔.

Bingsoo Melting Point:
⭐️⭐️
.75 /5
The Bingsoo certainly did melt fast
😣. This is most likely because it was summer, and the humidity played a huge role in that ☹️.
