All About Bingsoo Sydney Instagram

Time to get some chocolate! 🍫

Are you a chocoholic? Or maybe a mild chocoholic? Then it is time for you to get yourself some Chocolate Bingsoo! 🍫

Bingsoo Hotspot 8 (pt.1) 🍧:
Hello Happy, Strathfield

Hello Happy is an cute and colourful café with their own mascot/ brand character! 🤩

Location and Ambience

Hello Happy is positioned near the corner of Parnell St. It is approximately a 3 minutes’ walk from Strathfield station. You can identify the café from its cursive yet simple business name sign.

Hello Happy is rather bigger in size compared to other cafés. It is roomy with smaller tables and seating available near their entrance and more booth seating further in the café. It is a bright café with a colourful interior. Hello Happy’s brand character is also adorable! 😊

How to Order, Setup of the Café and Price

Right beside the entrance of Hello Happy is their Bingsoo menu stand that outlines their seasonal and available Bingsoo flavours 😍

When you first enter Hello Happy, to your left, there is a huge cake and dessert display as well as the counter. Above the counter is a menu board with many drinks, desserts and a few food options.

After deciding what you want to order, you will have to pay first at the counter. You will either receive a table number stand or find any available tables and wait for your order (I did not receive one that day because they were not busy). On that day I ordered a regular Chocolate Bingsoo which I believe was $16 (Please confirm the price before visiting 😅). They have both regular and large sizes available at different prices.

As I mentioned earlier, Hello Happy has multiple Bingsoo flavours and sometimes introduces new flavours to the mix. The Bingsoo flavours that they have recently are chocolate, red bean, matcha and sweet potato 🤤

Chocolate Bingsoo with cornflakes, brownies, Oreos,
vanilla ice-cream, condensed milk,
chocolate syrup and cocoa powder
🤩.

Bingsoo Presentation

I can definitely say that the staff are very generous with their toppings 😝 (Refer to the Choco Bingsoo picture above 👆).

The Chocolate Bingsoo (YES, Chocolate Bingsoo! Not milk Bingsoo with chocolate syrup 😲) are finely dispensed into a polished ceramic bowl. On top of the Bingsoo, it was decorated with plenty of cornflakes (honey flavoured 🍯 , I believe 🤔), pieces of Oreos that have been broken in half and chocolate brownies. It is topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, half an Oreo, some condensed milk, chocolate syrup and finally sprinkled with cocoa powder 🤩

Bingsoo Taste

With most chocolate flavoured desserts, it would be ultimately sweet and sometimes hard to finish. However, the Chocolate Bingsoo here is lighter on the sweetness but still tastes amazing 😊!

The Chocolate Bingsoo at Hello Happy tasted like a frozen chocolate custard that had been finely grated 😅. It was not overly sweet and still had a chocolate flavour to it. The cornflakes added a nice crunch to the Bingsoo and a slight sweetness from what I believe was the honey flavour 😋. The chocolate brownie added a nice subtle chew to the cold dessert. Whereas, the Oreos provided another source of sweetness to the Bingsoo. Finally, the ice-cream was a nice touch because it had a pleasant vanilla flavour 🍨

Overall, the Chocolate Bingsoo at Hello Happy was pleasantly good 🤤. After seeing the amount of ingredients on the Chocolate Bingsoo, it looked as if it would be excessively sweet but it was not!

If you want to try out a chocolate dessert that is not overwhelmingly sweet; head in to Hello Happy and try out their Chocolate Bingsoo 🍫😄 !

Bingsoo Rating

This Bingsoo rating will be out of 5 stars based on my personal preferences and experience 😏. I will outline the common attributes and quality that I look for in Bingsoo and rate it.

Bingsoo Flavour:
⭐️⭐️⭐️
.75/ 5
I love that the staff used Chocolate Bingsoo instead of milk Bingsoo with drizzled chocolate syrup. The chocolate toppings (Oreos, chocolate syrup, brownies & cocoa powder) did slightly accentuate the chocolate flavour. But I would have liked for the Chocolate Bingsoo itself to have a stronger chocolate flavour 😕.

Bingsoo Presentation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.25 /5
The Chocolate Bingsoo looked delectable. The ingredients were nicely placed, and it was very Instagrammable 🥰

Bingsoo Ingredients:

⭐️⭐️.25 /5
YAY to the generous staff members and cafés 😩! For a regular sized Bingsoo, the staff added so many toppings 😍. Honestly, after sharing it among two people, we still could not entirely finish it 😅

Bingsoo Melting Point:
⭐️⭐️
⭐️⭐️ /5
The Chocolate Bingsoo held up pretty well and had a slow melting point 😌.
